About The Opportunity
We are hiring a remote Podcast Producer to manage a fast-growing podcast channel serving English and regional audiences across India. You will own end-to-end audio production, release cadence, discoverability, and listener engagementworking closely with editorial, marketing, and growth teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end episode production: plan episodes, coordinate guests, manage recording sessions, perform editing, mixing and final master deliverables.
- Operate and optimize remote interview workflows using industry-standard platforms to ensure high-quality multi-track recordings and minimal post fixes.
- Create show notes, episode metadata, timestamps and SEO-friendly descriptions to maximise discoverability on podcast platforms.
- Publish and manage RSS feeds and distribution across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and major directories; handle episode scheduling and version control.
- Monitor audience metrics, run A/B content tests, and surface insights to improve retention, downloads, and listener growth.
- Collaborate with marketing to produce promotional snippets, social assets and repurposed audio for short-form channels.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven track record producing and publishing podcasts end-to-end for digital audiences.
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition or Descript for editing, cleaning, and mastering audio.
- Experience with remote recording platforms (Riverside.fm, Zencastr, Zoom) and multi-track session management.
- Hands-on knowledge of RSS feed management and distribution workflows across major podcast platforms.
- Strong show-note writing, metadata optimization, and basic audio SEO to boost discoverability.
- Comfort using analytics and transcription tools (Chartable/Podtrac, Otter.ai) to measure performance and produce transcripts.
Preferred
- Experience with Hindenburg or Pro Tools for storytelling and advanced editing.
- Familiarity with hosting platforms such as Anchor or Libsyn and monetization models.
- Background in journalism, storytelling, or content marketing with a demonstrable portfolio.
