Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles, Scrum practices, and team agreements.
• Maintain Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to track and communicate team performance.

Leadership & Coaching

• Act as a servant-leader and Agile coach to the Scrum team, guiding team members, the Product Owner, and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative team environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and learning are embraced.
• Help identify and implement improvements in team processes and performance.

Issue & Risk Management

• Proactively identify and remove impediments and blockers to ensure continuous team progress.
• Track interdependencies and escalate issues as needed to avoid delivery bottlenecks.
• Conduct risk analysis and create mitigation strategies to minimize impact on deliverables.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between the Scrum team and other departments/stakeholders.
• Ensure clear and transparent communication regarding progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Build strong relationships to support effective collaboration and delivery.

Technical Understanding

• Possess a strong grasp of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, continuous integration, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure Agile practices align with development and deployment standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Minimum 8 years of overall work experience, including 3+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Team Lead.
• Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), and tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and engineering processes.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
