Position: PMS Analyst

Note : Experienced 2nd Engineer / 3rd Engineer who are looking for Permanent Shore Job are eligible to apply for this post besides experienced PMS Analysts / PMS Engineers with relevant experienced on PMS Data Building in shipping/ shipping data building companies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzing various aspect of PMS and other modules of our Marine ERP Software and prepare document as per the need.
- Understanding and documenting client requirements
- Analyzing gaps between the user requirements and our ERP Product features and provide input to the company internal Data team
- To test/check functional aspects of modules developed by our team and produce desired report/outcome.
- Contribute in training to internal/external users of our ERP Product on PMS and related modules whenever required
- To create software related documents. (Software feature documents, Help documents, FAQs, Workflow documents etc) as per the requirement of the team
Ship visit and other responsibilities:
- Attain vessel for our product implementation/issue fixing and training purposes
- Assist vessel in the data collection process and update of PMS data onboard;
- Training of Shipboard personnel on use of Jibe and other modules; including back up of database and system recovery;
- Provide support to vessels / remote offices for our software and related modules.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3rd/ 2nd engineers or equivalent with minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in PMS Data building in shipping companies.
- Mechanical Engineers who started their carrier in Marine Data building companies, are also eligible for the position but they must have strong data building knowledge on MS Excel along with sound technical knowledge on vessels spare parts.
- Experience and deep understanding of the enterprise computing needs of ship management companies
- Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, independent and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Technical knowledge of shipboard equipment / vessels spare part knowledge / Vessel engine side knowledge
- Data building on MS Excel. (V Look up)
