Focus areas:
- Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables aligned to their respective project roles and skillsets.
- Expertise in milestone tracking and delivery management.
- Expertise in creating/managing Investment case in line with the Organisation strategic goals
(preferably has exposure to Value stream investment plan (VSIP) management)
- Expertise in setting up RAID management (including NFR reporting) and Change control processes.
- Expertise in setting up PMO governance for the project.
- Expertise in creating governance related decks and running governance forums (ex: Executive forums, Steering committee).
- Expertise in creating status report catering to different audiences from Sponsors to project group. Expertise in Requirements Management Dashboard Reporting.
- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Decision makers. Managing finance end to end along with demand management.
- Understanding of Governance framework and ensuring project adherence to it (ex: Change Control Frameworks and Standards & Control Monitoring)
- Understanding of Benefit Realization tracking (Understanding of OKRs and Tracking).
- Excellent in Stakeholder Management Stakeholder identification, relationship and expectations management, conflict resolution.
- Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
- Demonstrating an excellent understanding of the project lifecycle.
- Expertise in water fall and Agile methodologies (In Agile is exposed to PI planning. Quarterly business reviews).
- Having Business Transformation Projects delivery experience.
- Preferrable - Knowledge of working on tools like Clarity, MS Project, JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, Qliksense, SharePoint, GPDM.
Transformation and Framework:
- Possessing an excellent understanding of Global Change Delivery Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques.
- Having a thorough understanding of the purpose, value, culture, and fundamentals of Global Change Delivery.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of banking and an understanding of how change drives benefits for business, its customers, and other stakeholders.
Project Management Expertise:
- Understanding Project Management principles and methodologies, Agile framework and deliverables.
- Having exposure to PMO Services and understanding of PMO Function.
Team and Leadership Skills:
- Being a strong people manager and having broad experience in managing large teams of different work streams/geographies.
- Possessing in-depth experience of working in a banking / financial services environment and change projects.
- Demonstrating good stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing, and running project governance, implementation, change management, and benefits realization.
- Understanding the PMO activities and its governance role. Hands-on experience as a PMO is desirable.
- Having proven experience of setting up Project Management Processes and implementing Best Practices.
- Experience working with multiple delivery and business partner teams.
Client-Facing Skills:
- Experience in Client Facing roles.
