H2S Engineers is a U.S.-based MEP consulting firm founded in 2013. We have our main office in Anaheim, California. Our branch office in Surat supports a team of 15+ engineers. We specialize in the design of HVAC, electrical (power and lighting), and plumbing systems for a wide range of building typesincluding commercial, residential, industrial, educational, healthcare, and public facilitiesprimarily serving clients across the U.S., with a strong focus on Southern California.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plumbing Engineer at H2S Engineers Inc. The role involves designing plumbing and piping systems for buildings, including domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, storm drainage, medical gas and natural gas systems. Responsibilities include developing layout plans, performing fixture unit calculations, sizing piping systems, creating system riser diagrams, selecting plumbing equipment, and ensuring code compliance (CPC, IPC, etc.). The Plumbing Engineer will work closely with the U.S. team on a daily basis to develop engineered plumbing construction documents. The role also includes supporting construction administration tasks such as reviewing submittals, resolving RFIs, and coordinating with contractors. This is a work-from-office position based in Surat, and we offer relocation assistance.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing design for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings (US Projects)(California's project experience is plus point)
  • Expertise in designing plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and natural gas systems
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software
  • Familiarity with UPC/IPC plumbing codes and standards
  • Ability to perform load/fixture unit calculations and pipe sizing
  • Experience in creating system riser diagrams and construction documentation
  • Strong coordination skills with other disciplines (HVAC, electrical, structural)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Willingness to attend meetings in evening time for collaboration with the U.S. team
