About The Job:
We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL & Shell Scripting Developer with strong experience in Oracle database development and Unix/Linux scripting.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in writing optimized PL/SQL code, handling large datasets, and automating batch processes using shell scripts.
Essential Job Functions:
Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance using explain plans and indexing strategies
Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for job automation and batch processing
Work with large data volumes and perform data validation and reconciliation
Handle file processing (.dat, .ctl, .csv) and SQL*Loader-based integrations
Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs and resolve performance issues
Collaborate with application and business teams for requirement analysis
Implement error handling, logging, and audit mechanisms
Support deployment and release activities across environments
