PLSQL Developer

Job Description

About Role :

• Write and maintain PL/SQL programs like stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries for better performance and speed.
• Work with application and business teams to understand requirements and build database solutions accordingly.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
• Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform data analysis, data extraction, and create scripts for data migration or reporting.
• Collaborate with other developers and database administrators for code reviews, deployment, and system improvements.
• Maintain documentation for all PL/SQL development work.

What You Need:

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, indexes, constraints, joins, and data modeling.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries for reports or data extraction.
• Good knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot database issues.
• Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar.
• Basic understanding of UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of ETL processes or tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (like Git).
