PTC Windchill PLM Consultant / Windchill Upgrade & Migration Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced PTC Windchill PLM Consultant to join our team for Windchill implementation, upgrade, and migration projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across the PLM project lifecycle and be capable of supporting enterprise-scale Windchill environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all phases of PTC Windchill PLM projects, including implementation, upgrade, and migration
- Assess current PLM environments and support Windchill version upgrades
- Work on Windchill data migration activities using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM)
- Develop and maintain tools/scripts to support PLM upgrade and migration activities
- Actively participate in development, testing, validation, and deployment phases
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
- Provide production support and troubleshoot PLM-related issues
- Document processes, methodologies, and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory):
- 1013 years of overall IT experience
- Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM
- Experience in Windchill implementation, upgrade, or migration projects
- Hands-on exposure to Windchill 11.x or higher
- Experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) (mandatory)
- Database experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Working knowledge of Java or Python
- Good understanding of PLM data models and lifecycle processes
Good to Have:
- Client-facing experience in PLM projects
- Exposure to PLM integrations with ERP or other enterprise systems
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile project environments
