Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PLM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Teamcenter to lead business process design and functional solution delivery for a large-scale PLM implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end Teamcenter deployments and strong business analysis skills to bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business process discovery workshops and develop comprehensive AS-IS and TO-BE process maps for engineering, manufacturing, and product lifecycle domains using Teamcenter PLM.
Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases aligned with transformation objectives.
Act as the primary functional interface between business stakeholders and technical implementation teams, ensuring clear traceability from requirements to configuration and deployment.
Drive Functional Solution Design For Teamcenter Modules Such As
- BOM Management
- Change Management
- Document Management
- Workflow
- Classification
Validate solution designs through reviews and walkthroughs with stakeholders.
Support End-to-end Implementation Activities Including
- Fit-gap analysis
- Data migration validation
- UAT planning and execution
- Business readiness and adoption
Provide leadership during testing, defect triage, cutover, and hypercare phases to ensure smooth transition and business continuity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of PLM experience with mandatory participation as a Functional Consultant/Business Analyst in at least one full end-to-end Teamcenter PLM implementation.
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and PLM best practices.
- Expertise in Teamcenter modules (BOM, Change, Document, Workflow, Classification).
- Excellent skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience in UAT, data migration validation, and cutover planning.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder alignment.
