Job Title: PLM Engineer – SolidWorks (Crushing Equipment Division)

Role Summary
Responsible for managing product data, BOM structures, and engineering changes using SolidWorks PDM/PLM, ensuring smooth coordination between design, manufacturing, and supply chain for crushing equipment (crushers, screens, feeders, conveyors).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SolidWorks PDM/PLM system for CAD data, drawings, and document control.
- Maintain accurate BOM (Bill of Materials) for crushing equipment assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR) / Engineering Change Notes (ECN) within the system.
- Ensure proper revision control, versioning, and release processes.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) and product customization for crushers & allied equipment.
- Integrate design data with manufacturing, purchase, and production teams.
- Manage large assemblies (crushers, screens, structures) within SolidWorks environment.
- Ensure smooth CAD–PDM integration and data consistency.
- Create and manage standard part libraries and templates.
- Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for PDM users.
- Ensure adherence to documentation standards and audit requirements.
Key Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks PDM (Professional preferred).
- Expertise in SolidWorks CAD – large assembly handling.
- Strong knowledge of BOM structuring & configuration management.
- Experience in ECR/ECN process management.
- Understanding of fabrication, heavy structures, and machined components.
- Exposure to crusher equipment / mining machinery / bulk material handling is highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of ERP integration is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Crushing, Screening, or Material Handling equipment industry.
