PLC Programmer

Must-Have Requirements

1. Basic process knowledge and understanding of water flow and hydraulics.
2. Knowledge in Control Narrative-CN, Control Philosophy, Valve Sequence Chart, Operation Sequence Chart-OSC, Control Logic Chart-CLC, Cause & Effect Logic Diagram, Functional Design Specification-FDS etc. for platform Standard supply projects (small scale projects).
3. Able to handle multiple platform standard supply projects (Small Scale Projects) on PLC-HMI/SCADA Programming.
4. Hands on experience in development of PLC, HMI/SCADA for process equipment based on controls documentation for multiple projects ranging from platform standard supply projects (Small scale project) and EP/EP+ Standard/custom specification (Medium scale projects)
5. Understanding various protocols ETHERNET, CONTROLNET MODBUS TCP/IP PROFIBUS, etc.
6. Attended FAT, SAT for equipment system for verifying the PLC-HMI/SCADA w.r..t to process controls documents.
7. Has experience in Troubleshooting and debugging the PLC Logic and HMI/SCADA.
8. Knowledge in wiring diagrams and electronic configuration of PLC Automation systems.
9. Should be strong in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering fundamentals.
10. Basic understanding of process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture.
11. Basic understanding of instrumentation 2 Wire, 4 Wire etc.
12. Basic understanding of MCC, VFD fundamentals.
13. IO List preparation of platform standard supply projects (Small scale projects).
14. Handled multiple platform projects for IO List preparation and Network Architecture review.

Good to Have Requirements (That Supports future Career progression in the Role)

1. Understanding of standard programming blocks of water & wastewater treatment equipment like Clarifier, Filters, RO, UF, EDR, EDI, MBR, MBBR etc.
2. Knowledge of design deliverables PLC I/O list, System architecture, control system BOQ on multiple platform standard supply project (Small scale project).
3. Reviewing & evaluating vendor s techno-commercial offers.
4. Knowledge of FAT, SAT for equipment system for verifying supplied control system components.
5. Understanding of how the PLC logic and HMI/SCADA works.
6. Reviewing wiring diagrams and electronic configuration of PLC automation systems.
7. Vendor documents review for system integration.

Engineering Degree - Instrumentation & Controls/ Electronics

Minimum 6 years Experience in Water, Wastewater, Power, Oil & Gas or related Industry.
