Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer at Sakal System Pvt Ltd. The role involves designing, developing, and testing PLC programs for automation systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing PLC code to ensure efficient system performance.

Qualifications

Program a Siemens PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.

Programming and configuring SCADA software packages

IP network design and configuration.

To develop software, test control systems and work on various projects.

Responsible for programming assembly lines, robotic devices using range of PLC's.

Perform In-House test and site commissioning under formal client witnessed conditions.

Visit customer site and performing PLC programming tasks

To be successful, we're looking for:

Candidates based or ready to work from Ahmedabad.

B.E./B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics /Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation with more 3-4 years experience

Extensive knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, sequential function charts, etc.

Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software TIA Portal, RSLogix etc. and coding languages.

Developing PLC and HMI/SCADA software for customer orders and new machines using set protocols and SOPs. Development of new blocks, new libraries in PLC, software development in HMI/SCADA.

Candidate should know PLC, HMI, VFD and Servo programming of Siemens, AB, Mitsubishi and Delta etc.

Excellent ability to work under no supervision.

Good oral and written communication skills (English is a must).

Willingness to travel as and when required.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols

Understanding of electrical and safety regulations
