Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright for web application testing.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand application features and testing requirements.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects for quick resolution.
- Integrate Playwright test automation into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and testing.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage and performance.
- Document automation processes, test cases, and results to ensure quality standards are met.
Skills & QualificationsMust-Have
- Proficiency in Playwright framework for web automation testing
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with test automation and frameworks for web applications
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Understanding of software testing life cycle and methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues efficiently
Preferred
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
