We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation, available to join immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright and modern automation practices, along with hands-on experience in UI and API testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) Automate web application test cases covering both UI and API
- Develop reusable test utilities and implement Page Object Models (POM)
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)
- Execute regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams
- Perform root cause analysis and debug automation failures
- Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain detailed test reports (Allure/HTML reports)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices
- Continuously improve framework performance and scalability
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Test Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience in API testing (Playwright API / Postman / Rest Assured)
- Good understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
