The Impact you will have in this role:

The Associate - Network Observability supports the day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and instrumentation of DTCC's network observability platforms. This role focuses on executing standard monitoring activities, maintaining data quality, and assisting with troubleshooting and documentation across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid network environments. The Associate works closely with Network Operations a

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and enhance monitoring and instrumentation across critical network locations and platforms.
  • Perform advanced analysis of network telemetry, logs, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and root causes.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex connectivity and performance issues using topology and visualization tools
  • Provide support for off-hour / weekend implementation and Disaster Recovery tests as required
  • Build and maintain advanced dashboards, health views, and executive‑ready visualizations
  • Ensure observability, high availability, and disaster recovery principles are applied to all supported platforms
  • Author system documentation and supporting documents to ensure transparency of design to minimize future maintenance costs
  • Deliver targeted business outcomes by participating in the technical decision-making process
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering on system design and implementation to embed observability from inception
  • Mentor Associates, review their work, and provide technical guidance and best practice
  • Analyze changing business requirements to determine impact and optimal solution regarding defining the future state technical architecture
  • Follow established DTCC requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise (best practices)
  • Applies knowledge of technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to contribute to the decision-making process
  • Monitor metrics to ensure system performance meets requirements
  • Ensure adherence to the governance, standards and best practices established by DTCC
  • Ensure delivered solutions enable infrastructure agility, scalability, and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk escalates appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 04+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Strong knowledge in observability tools includes, Network, Server and Application Performance monitoring, Cloud, Event Managements, Synthetic monitoring, etc.
  • Strong Knowledge in Open Shift Container environment, Docker Image and hosting applications.
  • Hands-on Experience in handling protocols - SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, TACACS, LDAP, YANG and strong knowledge in REST API's, YAML, JSON.
  • Hands on experience in Programming Language such as Python, Django, Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of IAC automation and CICD Pipeline, GITHUB, Image repositories, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in handling DevOps tools.
  • Hands on experience editor tools includes VsCode, PyCharm, KIRO and IntelliJ Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical and business stakeholder groups
