Platform Engineer Intern 6 months Internship Opportunity at Slice

Location: On-site | Koramangala, Bengaluru, India

Available to join us immediately

What You'll Do:

1. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system architecture and help improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.
2. Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and release processes.
3. Work on containerization and orchestration tools to support scalable deployments.
4. Contribute to infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
5. Support monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives to improve system visibility and performance.
6. Participate in troubleshooting production and staging issues alongside senior engineers.
7. Gain hands-on exposure to cloud platforms and real-world distributed systems.
8. Contribute to improving developer experience by building internal tools and automation workflows.
9. Explore and experiment with AI-driven automation tools to enhance infrastructure efficiency and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For:

1. Used Agentic AI coding tools build any real life applications
2. Worked on AI-related projects, especially in automation or system optimization.
3. Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or any object-oriented language.
4. Basic understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and shell scripting.
5. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
6. Basic knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Exposure to any of the CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
8. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
9. Interest or exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
10. Good hands-on coding ability with a problem-solving mindset.
11. Strong curiosity about distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering.
12. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile team.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. Most importantly, genuinely enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn, and hungry to build impactful systems.

Have built or contributed to automation frameworks in personal or academic projects.

Are genuinely excited about fintech products and user-first design.
