As a
Platform / DevOps / SRE Engineer, you will be responsible for building and operating the cloud infrastructure that runs our core services. You will work closely with backend engineers to create a secure, observable, and production-grade platform capable of handling live-event traffic spikes and high-concurrency workloads.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on infrastructure work, automation, and improving system reliability through engineering excellence.
What You'll Achieve
Build the Platform Foundation
- Design and manage AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure
- Containerize services using Docker
- Deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
CI/CD & Release Engineering
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for build, test, and deployment
- Enable fast and reliable delivery using GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / ArgoCD
Observability & Reliability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK)
- Create dashboards for latency, error rates, throughput, and infrastructure health
- Support the definition and tracking of SLIs/SLOs
Scalability & Performance
- Configure auto-scaling, load balancing, and caching layers
- Prepare the platform for live-event traffic spikes
Security & Infrastructure Hygiene
- Manage IAM roles, secrets, and environment configurations
- Implement infrastructure best practices and vulnerability scanning
Infrastructure as Code
- Build and maintain Terraform-based environments
- Ensure parity across development, staging, and production environments
Incident Readiness
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Contribute to incident response and postmortems
- Continuously improve system reliability and deployment safety
What You'll Bring
- 35 years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks
- Strong fundamentals in networking, load balancers, auto-scaling, and secrets management
Good to Have
- Experience supporting high-traffic or real-time systems
- Exposure to Redis and PostgreSQL operations
- Experience with Helm or ArgoCD
- Basic cloud cost optimization practices
