We are expanding our team with a Platform Advocate who can help customers and prospects understand, adopt, and succeed with the IOMETE platform.
The Role
The Platform Advocate is a hybrid between solutions architect, technical educator, and evangelist - but rooted in real engineering, not marketing gloss.
Your job:
- Show the world that a credible alternative to the public-cloud/SaaS data giants now exists. Make it clear that enterprises are not obligated to push all their data into a U.S. hyperscaler just to use a modern lakehouse. Demonstrate that vendor lock-in is optional, not inevitable. And articulate that organizations can fully own their data while still benefiting from a state-of-the-art platform built to maximize the business value of that data.
- You will be the bridge between marketing, sales, engineering, product, and the market.
- You'll produce high-quality content, shape product feedback loops, and support strategic prospects through discovery, PoCs, and early adoption.
What You Will Do
The Platform Advocate turns IOMETE's technology into market adoption - through education, evangelism, enablement, and relentless clarity about the value of a sovereign lakehouse.
Specifically:
- Build IOMETE University - a complete education and enablement platform that turns data teams, partners, and prospects into competent operators of the sovereign lakehouse. You will design the curriculum, produce the content, create hands-on labs, define certification tracks, publish reference architectures, and build the learning paths that allow anyone - engineer, architect, or executive - to understand, deploy, and extract value from IOMETE without relying on our core engineering team.
- Monitor the data ecosystem and translate market signals internally.
- Be the external technical voice of IOMETE: credible, precise, with authenticity.
What We Are Looking For
This is an opportunity to join a promising startup right before take-off. IOMETE is already being used by the Fortune 50. We have product-market-fit. You will be a critical contributor to accelerating our GTM motion.
Specifically:
- Ability to be a spokesperson in person and on video. This is a very visible role. You represent the IOMETE brand. So you must be able to speak and present clearly and be authentic. To give you an idea what we are looking for: watch the Webflow University videos on YouTube. Their team is professional, articulate and authentic (even funny). It is fine to have an accent, but you must speak clearly. This is why we ask for a mandatory 1 minute video as part of your application.
- Excellent written communication.
- Engineering background in data platforms, distributed systems, or analytics infrastructure.
- Understanding of the world of enterprise data infrastructure.
- Prior experience in DevRel, Solutions Engineering, or Platform Advocacy is a plus but no hard requirement.
- High integrity, low ego, strong bias for action.
