Plant Head | Faridabad | 10+ Years | FMCG / Pharma / Beauty & Personal Care
Role Overview
Maharishi Ayurveda Products Ltd is seeking an accomplished Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations at its Faridabad facility. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing supply chain and plant performance, and building high-performing teams to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Planning
- Lead overall plant operations including production planning, capacity utilization, and cost optimization
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, GMP, and regulatory standards applicable to FMCG/Pharma manufacturing
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and yield
- Align plant objectives with business goals and annual operating plans
Supply Chain Management
- Oversee procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics operations
- Ensure seamless coordination between production, planning, and distribution teams
- Optimize raw material and finished goods inventory to reduce working capital
- Strengthen vendor management and ensure uninterrupted supply
Plant Maintenance
- Ensure effective preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and utilities
- Drive TPM, asset reliability, and equipment efficiency programs
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental norms
- Manage CAPEX planning and execution for plant upgrades and expansion
Leadership & Team Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous learning
- Drive workforce planning, skill development, and succession planning
- Maintain healthy industrial relations and employee engagement
ERP / SAP
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP/SAP systems for production planning, inventory, quality, and reporting
- Drive data-driven decision-making through accurate MIS and dashboards
- Lead system improvements and process standardization initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in plant operations within FMCG, Pharma, or Personal Care manufacturing
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Sound knowledge of GMP, quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Experience in ERP/SAP-driven manufacturing environments
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Production or related field)
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA (Operations) preferred
