Plant Finance Manager
You will oversee finance functions on manufacturing plant (Manamadurai, Sivaganga District) including all manufacturing accounting, cost controlling and corporate reporting to HO (Delhi). You will provide a crucial link and partner with operations to provide meaningful insights and relevant reporting to drive performance. You will provide commercial analysis and financial support to operational teams and the leadership group whilst also being capable of providing full corporate reporting to HO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant.
- Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting.
- Prepare monthly business commentaries. Provide timely, relevant, and actionable reporting of key performance measures (cost absorption, functional expenses, material variances, and efficiency variances analysis etc.).
- Deliver Budgets and manage plant financial performance: Analyse monthly financial performance of the manufacturing plant, with particular focus on volumes produced, conversion cost incurred, and cost savings delivered.
- Highlight risks & opportunities with regards to future plant performance.
- Product Costing validation on regular basis including updating in ERP and efficiency reporting.
- Lead the preparation of formalized Capital Investment proposals in the context of capacity expansion of the plant. Also, to monitoring and updating cost estimates for ongoing projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges.
- Manage plant level procurements and inventory levels to ensure effective working as per company policy.
- Responsible for custody and control of Fixed Assets
- Responsible for statutory compliances with respect to GST and all statues.
- To facilitate the interactions with the various authorities like GST & Custom Authorities, Dept of Industries, Power Department etc.
- Main point of contact for external and internal auditors and tax authorities.
- Ensure Proper Internal Control system is implemented & followed at the Plant and drive to continuously improve the Internal Control environment.
- Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents. Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong manufacturing industry experience.
- Costing experience is must with ERP exposure.
- CWA/CA or equivalent qualification.
- Business partnering and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure working with agri-input or seaweed processing highly advantageous.
- Having 7 to 10 years experience.
- Salary as per market standard and not a constraint for right candidate.
