We are seeking a skilled Plant Breeder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 4-14 years of experience in plant breeding and genetics, focusing on the development of new plant varieties that meet agricultural needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and experiments to develop new plant varieties with desirable traits.
Analyze genetic data to evaluate breeding strategies and outcomes.
Collaborate with agronomists and other scientists to enhance crop yield and quality.
Manage field trials and data collection processes to assess plant performance.
Stay updated on advancements in plant breeding techniques and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Agronomy, or related field.
Strong knowledge of plant genetics and molecular breeding techniques.
Experience with statistical analysis software and data interpretation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
