Planning Manager

We're hiring: Planning Manager (8–12 yrs) | UK Projects | PMC

Looking for a Planning Manager to lead and institutionalise planning across multiple PMC projects — not just run schedules, but build the systems behind them.

Location - Pune (HO)

Role Description

• Lead and institutionalise the planning function across multiple PMC projects
• Build PMO framework — SOPs, standardized templates, reporting formats, governance documents
• Establish single source of planning truth across all active projects
• Design enterprise Power BI dashboards for real-time leadership visibility (progress %, resource utilisation, billing status, productivity trends)
• Set up and own centralised SharePoint-based Common Data Environment (CDE) for document control and version management
• Standardise contractor and in-house reporting formats to strengthen data flow, auditability and planning controls
• Support business development — technical proposals, execution strategies & planning deliverables
• Drive planning maturity organisation-wide, not just at single-project level

Qualifications

• 8–12 years experience in project planning/controls
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project across multi-project environments
• Proven experience building Power BI dashboards for senior leadership reporting
• Working knowledge of SharePoint (CDE setup, document control, version management)
• Demonstrated experience setting up/institutionalising a PMO or planning governance framework
• Strong stakeholder management — standardising reporting across contractors and in-house teams
• Business development support experience — proposals, execution strategy for tenders
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification — advantage
• Prior experience on UK-based projects — preferred
