The Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for building and advancing Demand Planning capabilities within the Center of Excellence (CoE) while leading a team of demand planners supporting multiple businesses and regions
The role is accountable for developing standardized demand planning processes, governance, tools, analytics, and best practices to deliver accurate, consensus-based demand plans for mid- to long-term (SIOP) planning horizons and supporting short tem execution (S&OE)
This position provides functional leadership to a team responsible for end-to-end demand planning execution, ensuring effective integration of statistical forecasting, commercial inputs, market intelligence, and product lifecycle considerations into a reliable demand signal
Demand Planning Leadership & Capability Development
Establish and deploy standardized Demand Planning processes, tools, templates, and governance frameworks
Build organizational capability in forecasting, demand analytics, scenario planning, demand adjustments, consensus demand planning and demand review effectiveness
Lead integration of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) considerations into the demand planning process, ensuring effective planning and governance of
New Product Introductions (NPI), End-of-Life (EOL) transitions, SKU segmentation, portfolio optimization, and Product Complexity Reduction initiatives to improve forecast quality, inventory management, and business performance
Analytics, Performance & Continuous Improvement
Own Demand Planning performance metrics including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, MAPE, Forecast Value Add, and forecast stability
Establish robust root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action processes to improve forecasting performance
Develop dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytics to provide actionable planning insights
Team Leadership & People Management
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus
Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and feedback to enhance technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership readiness within the team
Ensure effective workload balancing, resource allocation, and succession planning to support business growth and evolving organizational needs
Qualifications
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree Engineering
Master's degree preferred in in Supply Chain Management, Operations
12+ years of expereicne in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, SIOP/IBP, Forecasting, or a related function
Skills
Demonstrated experience leading demand planning teams and driving planning transformation initiatives
Strong Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, NPI/EOL processes, SKU segmentation, and portfolio management
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and business units
Proven expertise in leading and developing teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and managing complex projects
CPIM or equivalent certification preferred
Experience with planning systems such as Kinaxis, Demantra, SAP IBP, Anaplan, or equivalent tools
Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting methodologies, statistical modeling, and scenario planning
Advanced proficiency in SIOP processes, ERP systems, BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Kinaxis), and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and process governance
