Position: Manager Planning
Place of Posting: Head Office / Major Project Site (as per requirement)
Reports To: Head Planning & Development Team
Educational Background:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute
- Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management / Project Management (preferred)
- Certifications like PMP / MSP / Primavera (Desirable)
Work Experience:
- 1015 years of professional experience in project planning and controls
- Minimum 24 years of hands-on experience in high-rise residential or commercial building projects
- Proven track record of handling multiple large-scale projects in the real estate/construction industry

Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and scheduling activities for high-rise projects across multiple locations
- Develop and maintain baseline and updated project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Define WBS, assign activities, resources, and cost loading to track project performance
- Coordinate closely with project execution, procurement, design, MEP, and quality teams to align planning objectives
- Conduct critical path analysis, identify schedule risks, and suggest corrective/preventive actions
- Prepare and present high-level reports for internal and external stakeholders including project dashboards, S-curves, and earned value metrics
- Lead weekly/monthly progress review meetings with senior leadership and project teams
- Mentor and guide planning engineers and senior engineers in schedule management and reporting
- Review contractor's planning submissions, validate schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Implement best practices in planning, monitoring, and project controls aligned with Sobha's project delivery model
