Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with a strong background in commercial or corporate interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of projects using Microsoft Project (MSP) and other planning tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using Microsoft Project (MSP) for interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, and site teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Monitor project progress vs planned schedule and highlight delays or risks.
- Conduct delay analysis and prepare mitigation plans.
- Track milestones, critical path activities, and resource allocation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Support the project team in planning procurement schedules and contractor timelines.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights.
- Ensure efficient project execution within deadlines and budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- 510 years of experience in planning for commercial / corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Project (MSP) for scheduling and tracking.
- Understanding of project lifecycle, construction sequencing, and fit-out processes.
- Experience with critical path method (CPM) and project scheduling techniques.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with corporate office interiors, workplace fit-outs, or commercial spaces.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 (optional but advantageous).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
