Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Prepare baseline schedules using tools like Primavera / MS Project
- Define milestones, critical path, and sequencing of activities
- Align project schedule with contractual requirements and site conditions
Monitoring, Tracking & Reporting
- Track project progress against the planned schedule
- Identify delays, deviations, and risks proactively
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports (MIS)
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
Coordination & Resource Management
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution
- Ensure optimal allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment
- Support procurement planning based on project timelines
- Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage project master programme and fortnightly/monthly construction schedules
- Preparing Tender and BOI schedules
- Monitor project progress (design, tenders, purchasing, construction) and update master programme accordingly
- Monitor contractors work progress on site and monitor adequacy of resources and equipment
- Propose plans for works acceleration and documentation management, related to contractor's delays & EOT claims
- Assist project manager in preparing monthly reports (PPR & MPR)
Required Education & Skills
- Diploma, BTech, or Bachelor of Engr Degree (Civil)
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in the building construction industry with at least 3-5 years in a planning position
- Candidate with experience of working in a Planning position for hotel projects will be preferred
- Excellent command of MS Project (knowledge of Primavera is a plus)
- Good technical knowledge of civil construction acquired as construction engineer
- Good ability to read & review drawings
- Good command of English and ability to write minutes of meeting and reports
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
