Planning Manager – Real Estate / Construction
Job Summary
The Planning Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of real estate development projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure works. The role involves ensuring timely project delivery within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Roles Responsibilities
- Lead and build the real estate development execution team, ensuring effective project delivery
- Direct project evaluation and present cost-benefit analysis at key decision stages
- Assist the CTO in organizing and managing all construction activities at project sites
- Oversee end-to-end construction operations and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities to achieve milestones efficiently
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders including civil, MEP, and finishing teams
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to maximize productivity
- Identify and resolve on-site construction issues proactively
- Maintain strict quality control, safety standards, and execution speed at site
- Conduct and participate in project review meetings to track progress and performance
- Prepare and present MIS reports on a monthly basis
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Required Skills Competencies
- Strong project planning and execution capabilities
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, MEP works, and finishing processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and ERP systems like SAP ERP
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and reporting
Qualifications Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- 10–15 years of experience in construction planning and execution (real estate sector preferred)
- Experience in handling residential/commercial projects

- Project completion within timeline and budget
- Resource utilization efficiency
- Quality and safety compliance
- Coordination effectiveness with contractors and consultants
- Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (most preferred in construction/real estate)
- OR Bachelor's in Construction Management / Project Management
Experience Requirement
- Usually 10–15 years of experience
