Job Description

1. Invoice to Collection Process Management
• Own and manage the complete Invoice-to-Collection (I2C) lifecycle, from invoice generation through to payment realization.
• Design and implement robust billing processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing, reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimize bad debt exposure.
• Establish escalation frameworks for overdue collections and coordinate with business teams for dispute resolution.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports for real-time visibility into receivables and collection performance.

2. Efficiency in Invoicing, Collection Process & Accounting Operations
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement automation and process improvements across invoicing, collections, and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Leverage ERP systems and technology to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve turnaround times.
• Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounting functions.
• Drive accuracy in financial record-keeping, statutory compliance, and timely month-end/year-end closures.
• Benchmark operational KPIs against industry standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Overseeing Key Processes: Payroll, Banking & Treasury
• Supervise payroll processing to ensure timely, accurate salary disbursements and compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax).
• Manage relationships with banking partners; oversee bank account operations, credit facilities, and guarantee management.
• Oversee treasury functions including short-term investments, foreign exchange management, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks across all key processes.

4. Fund Planning & Cash Flow Management
• Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
• Plan and manage fund requirements, including working capital needs, capital expenditure funding, and debt servicing.
• Optimize the organization's capital structure and cost of borrowing through effective fund management.
• Provide strategic inputs on investment decisions, surplus fund deployment, and financial risk mitigation.
• Present fund position reports and variance analysis to senior leadership on a regular basis.

5. Management Reporting
• Prepare and present comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior leadership on a periodic basis.
• Lead the finalization of Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement in close co-ordination with the FP&A Department.
• Develop and maintain treasury planning reports, including Working Capital and Term Debt reporting to Management.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all management reports and financial dashboards.
• Provide analytical insights and commentary on key financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.

6. Banking
• Co-ordinate with banks for resolution of service-related issues and ensure smooth banking operations.
• Manage the end-to-end process for issuance of Bank Guarantees as per business requirements.
• Oversee Drawing Power calculations and ensure timely renewal of banking credit limits and facilities.
• Maintain strong banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms for credit facilities and services.

7. Team Building & Management
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team aligned with organizational goals.
• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create individual development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the finance function.
• Plan and manage resource allocation to support business growth and operational demands.

Job Specification/ Desired Profile
• Demonstrated expertise in Invoice-to-Collection management, cash flow planning, and treasury operations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of process improvement, automation, and driving operational efficiency.

Educational Qualification
• M.Com / MBA / CA Finance preferred but not a pre-requisite.

Total Experience
• Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years
in a leadership role.
