Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer with 24 years of experience in construction project planning and scheduling. The candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely project execution as per committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project / Primavera.
• Develop baseline programs, weekly and monthly planning reports.
• Monitor project progress and compare it with planned schedules.
• Identify delays, analyze reasons, and propose corrective action plans.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports (DPR/WPR/MPR).
• Track resource allocation (manpower, material, machinery).
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Design teams.
• Ensure adherence to committed TAT and client timelines.
• Assist in preparing recovery plans if the project is behind schedule.
• Maintain proper documentation of planning records.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and planning principles.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera.
• Good understanding of construction methodology and sequencing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering
• or
• Diploma in Civil Engineering

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in residential / commercial / interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills.
