Job Title: Planning Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress and

update schedules.

Monitor project timelines, critical paths, and resource allocations to ensure timely

completion.

Prepare and Analyze look-ahead schedules and identify potential risks.

Generate progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards for management

review.

Ensure project planning aligns with contractual milestones and client requirements.

Assist in delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims.

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for material and resource planning.

Implement best practices in project planning and scheduling methodologies.

Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights and recommendations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.

Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.

Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and resource allocation.

Familiarity with project management principles and contract administration.

Ability to Analyze and interpret project data for decision-making.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Relevant certifications in project planning (Primavera, PMP, etc.) are a plus.

Experience in [construction/infrastructure/oil & gas/power] projects preferred.
