Role Overview
You will be responsible for project planning, monitoring, and control, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role involving close coordination with site teams, procurement, and management to drive execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera
- Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned to BOQ and execution sequence
- Plan activities, resources, and timelines for effective execution
2. Monitoring & Control
- Track planned vs actual progress using quantity-based measurement
- Prepare and update Progress Reports, S-curves, catch-up plans and manpower histograms
- Generate 2–3 week look-ahead plans for site execution
- Identify delays, bottlenecks, and deviations—and drive corrective actions
3. Scope Monitoring and Control
- Identify and track scope deviations / additional works at site
- Maintain a Change Log / Variation Register
- Quantify impact of changes on time and cost
- Coordinate preparation and submission of variation / extra work claims
- Ensure timely client approvals for scope changes
- Support commercial team in maximizing claim realization
4. Coordination & Execution Support
- Work closely with: Site teams, Procurement, Engineering, Clients
- Ensure alignment between Drawings, Material availability, Execution sequence
- Support billing (RA bills) based on physical progress
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7 - 10 years experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects
- Strong exposure to: Mechanical / Piping / E&I works and Offshore working
- Proficient in: Primavera, Excel-based tracking and reporting
- Experience in: WBS preparation, scheduling, and progress tracking, Look-ahead planning and site coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret Drawings, ISOs, layouts
- Strong understanding of: Site execution challenges and productivity
- Experience in Offshore / Gulf / large industrial projects will be an added advantage
