Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP professional to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services across large-scale, high-quality real estate projects including commercial, residential, retail, and IT parks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional project management skills, ensuring seamless execution from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of MEP services, including design, procurement, site execution, testing, commissioning, and project closeout for HT/LT electrical installations (HV/LV systems), HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, security, and access control systems.
- Develop, plan, and monitor detailed MEP schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of time and resources for large building and township projects.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, agencies, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of all MEP-related works.
- Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality systems while managing costs and project timelines efficiently.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and optimize resource utilization to maximize project profitability.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Manage project budgets with a strong grasp of financial principles and project financing.
- Foster a collaborative environment that ensures all MEP works comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Who are we looking for
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
Experience
- Extensive years of proven experience managing MEP services in large-scale real estate projects, including commercial, residential, retail, and IT parks.
- Strong technical knowledge across all MEP disciplines from conceptual design to commissioning.
- Hands-on experience with design coordination, procurement, and site execution of
- mechanical, electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, security, and access control systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and vendors.
- Sound understanding of financial concepts related to project budgeting and cost control.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Prior experience in MEP design and design review.
- Proven track record in value engineering and efficient resource utilization.
- In-depth knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Excelent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
