Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner to manage the internal manufacturing of components and final assemblies. The Planner will leverage the ERP system to ensure that manufacturing occurs as scheduled, making resource and capacity issues visible with sufficient lead-time to manage on-time completion of work orders. This role requires interfacing with intercompany business units for order acknowledgments, sales contract review, and delivery status.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage intercompany sales orders (NSO) from order entry through to delivery shipment of products to customers.
- Ensure sales order on-time delivery and communicate order changes/delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop priorities and communicate with support functions, actively resolving problems as needed.
- Review, release, and manage work orders per system demand, maintain adherence to organizational metrics.
- Expedite work orders through the production process and execute production dispatch activities, including generating ERP Dispatch Reports and managing shop scheduling and optimization.
- Oversee all WIP and resolve WIP aging issues, analyzing and implementing corrective actions for Job Closure variances.
- Develop weekly and monthly shipment plans and coordinate shipment activities.
- Comply with all NOV Company, departmental, and HSE procedures and policies.
Facility Responsibilities
- Lead daily production meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Attend weekly/monthly status calls with customers.
- Review material shortages and collaborate with Buyers to resolve discrepancies between CPO material plans and manufacturing needs.
- Commit items and release Work Orders for in-house production and OSP per MRP.
- Monitor work-in-process and status work orders with estimated completion dates.
- Manage ERP exceptions and system-generated messages, maintaining a list of orders at risk for on-time delivery.
- Identify, reason out, and resolve order/shipment issues, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
- Conduct open order review meetings and escalate issues and potential resolutions to Management as needed.
- Maintain a perpetual state of audit readiness and participate in internal audits as required.

Education & Experience Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred, with an emphasis in business administration, project management, or engineering.
- Minimum of 04 years of experience in a planning function.
- Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, including customers, sales, warehouse, transportation, order management, and purchasing teams.
- Experience using MRP systems such as Glovia or Oracle, including generating reports from ERP systems.
- Proficient problem-solving skills and experience solving complex problems.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Proficient in English speaking and writing.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and analytical skills.
Technical Competencies
- Experience with MRP systems such as Glovia or Oracle, including generating reports from ERP systems.
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
