We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Placement Head to lead the placement and

corporate relations function, strengthen hiring partnerships, and ensure successful career

outcomes for our learners.

Role Overview

The Placement Head will be responsible for managing the entire placement lifecycle,

developing strong relationships with hiring partners, and leading the placement team to drive

internships and full-time job opportunities for learners. This role requires strong industry

connections, leadership skills, and the ability to align learner talent with evolving industry

demands.

Key Responsibilities

Placement Strategy & Execution

Lead and manage the end-to-end placement process for learners across programs.

Design and implement placement strategies to maximize learner hiring outcomes.

Monitor placement metrics, hiring pipelines, and candidate readiness.

Corporate Relations & Partnerships

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, startups, and technology

hiring partners.

Expand the corporate hiring network to create more internship and job opportunities.

Identify emerging hiring trends and align placement strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage the placement and corporate relations team.

Set placement targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.

Provide training and guidance to the team for corporate engagement and candidate

readiness.

Hiring Events & Industry Engagement

Organize recruitment drives, career fairs, hiring events, and corporate connect

programs.

Collaborate with industry leaders and HR partners for exclusive hiring opportunities.

Academic & Skill Alignment

Work closely with the academic and curriculum teams to ensure learners are

equipped with industry-relevant skills.

Provide insights on industry hiring requirements, skill gaps, and market demand.

Data & Reporting

Track placement performance, hiring trends, and industry demand.

Prepare reports and insights for leadership to strengthen placement outcomes and

corporate partnerships.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in placements, corporate relations, career services, or talent

acquisition.

Proven network with technology companies, startups, and hiring managers.

Strong leadership and team management experience.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including learners, hiring partners, and

leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in EdTech, training institutes, or higher education placements.

Understanding of hiring trends in technology domains such as Data Science, AI,

Cloud, DevOps, and Software Development.
