Placement Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Placement Officer to guide our students through their career journey. This role is crucial for building a bridge between our graduates and the job market. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities, from providing career counseling and preparing students for interviews to building relationships with corporate offices and securing job opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate and promote career planning through presentations, student outreach, and orientation sessions.
• Inform students about interview schedules via email and coordinate interviews between students and companies.
• Help students identify employment options that match their career interests and assist them with all aspects of the job search.
• Provide resources on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and available job openings.
• Schedule and follow up on student interviews with prospective employers.
• Provide targeted career information and resources for specific majors and interest groups.
• Identify the number and types of positions needed for Itvedant.
• Visit corporate offices to inquire about vacancies and refer our students.
• Maintain an employer database and student files.
• Submit a monthly report on placement activities and outcomes.
