Job description:

4-5 Years of experience in Placing the students in various companies

Good established relationship in Industrial set ups and other service sector employers

Good interpersonal skills

Minimum a Graduate and a enthusiastic person. MBA is desirable

To ensure the smooth placement of all the trained candidates in various job roles at

World Skill Centre of Excellence, Patiala.

Detailed Responsibilities are as follows:

Evaluate students technical skills, soft skills, and career readiness through assessments and interviews

Conduct career counselling sessions to help students identify suitable career paths

Organize pre-placement training programs including resume writing, interview skills, and workplace etiquette

Build and maintain relationships with potential employers across various industries

Conduct regular industry visits and meetings to understand current hiring trends and requirements

Negotiate placement terms, salary packages, and working conditions with employers

Organize industry interaction sessions and guest lectures for students

Match suitable candidates with appropriate job opportunities based on skills and employer requirements

Coordinate placement drives, campus interviews, and recruitment events

Schedule and manage interview processes, including logistics and communication with all stakeholders

Follow up with employers and students throughout the recruitment process

Prepare regular reports on placement outcomes for management and funding agencies

Monitor placed students performance and job satisfaction in their initial months

Maintain records of employer feedback and use it to improve training programs

Develop placement strategies aligned with local and regional employment trends

Collaborate with training teams to align curriculum with industry requirements

Organize job fairs, career exhibitions, and networking events

Handle grievances and disputes related to placements

Ensure adherence to placement policies and guidelines set by the skill development centre

To attain the placement target at its maximum, must attain the placement target of 70% or any other target assigned under government Schemes or by Sun Foundation.
