Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Placement Manager to lead our student placement initiatives. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners, guiding students through the placement process, and ensuring successful placement outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network, a passion for connecting talent with opportunities, and a proven track record in placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, employers, and recruitment agencies to secure placement opportunities for students.
- Coordinate and manage the entire placement process, from job matching to interview preparation and final placements.
- Identify job opportunities and career pathways that align with students skill sets and aspirations.
- Prepare students for placements by conducting mock interviews, resume-building workshops, and providing career counseling.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with employers to ensure a smooth placement experience and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Track and report on placement success rates, identifying areas for improvement and refining strategies.
- Collaborate closely with training and faculty teams to understand students skill levels and enhance their employability.
- Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, and career development events to increase student exposure and placement opportunities.
- Continuously refine placement strategies based on feedback from students, employers, and market demands.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Looking for candidates with 1 to 10 years of experience in placement management, recruitment, or career services, preferably in the education or training sector.
- Strong networking skills and established relationships with corporate clients and recruitment partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide students throughout the placement process.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Prior experience working in a skill development or training environment is a plus.
