Inviting applications for the role of the Consultant - Network and Security Engineer
Researches, perform software upgrades, audits and delivers Network as a Service (NaaS) and Security as a Service (SECaaS) products. Incorporates a detailed understanding of internal and industry solutions to analyze business requirements and functional specifications to inform organizational strategy. Meets with stakeholders to determine network/system requirements. Performs gap analysis , documents findings and remediation plans. Provides technical leadership & direction in planning, designs, supports, maintaining and troubleshoots highly complex network & computer systems in close coordination with vendors and internal teams. Mentors others and fosters collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and security solutions.
.Provide technical leadership in networking methodologies and technologies and drive the adoption of technical standards.
.Act as a resource, consultant, and technical leader for internal development, operations, and support teams.
.Organize, review, write, and publish technical documentation.
.Collaborate within an Agile development team to define, design, develop, test, and implement cutting-edge networking and security solutions.
.Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of development processes.
.Meet engineering design and delivery deadlines with high quality and minimal supervision.
.Demonstrated experience with Cisco network devices (routers and switches), ASA/Firepower appliances, Meraki devices, SD-WAN solutions, FortiGate, and Zscaler firewalls.
.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and network security.
.Experience with network upgrades, migrations, and maintenance procedures.
.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
.Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid documentation skills.
.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
.Extensive hands-on experience with network security products from Cisco, VeloCloud, and FortiGate.
.Well-versed in current industry best practices for networking and security technologies.
.Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP, UDP, FTP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, and BGP.
.Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, ASA/Firepower, FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager, VeloCloud SD-WAN, Cisco SD-WAN, and Zscaler.
.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki, SD-WAN, FortiGate, Zscaler) are a plus.

Additional Information:
.This role may require off-hours work or on-call support for upgrades and maintenance activities.
.Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving requirements.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
.Strong understanding of networking technologies, including VeloCloud SD-WAN, Cisco SD-WAN, FortiGate and Zscaler firewalls, routing, switching, and Meraki solutions.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
.Proven experience in Cisco network support, including troubleshooting and project implementation.
.Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Meraki, FortiGate, Zscaler, VeloCloud SD-WAN, or Cisco SD-WAN are highly desirable.
