Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Coordinator based in Delhi. The Placement Coordinator will facilitate employment opportunities for individuals supported/ trained by Samarthanam Trust. The responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with potential employers, organizing and attending job fairs, coordinating placement processes, providing career counseling to disabled candidates, and ensuring smooth communications between candidates and employers. The role also involves ensuring that placement goals are met and reporting on the outcomes of employment initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in employment counseling, recruitment, or working with placement agencies
  • Organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of local employment markets and networking skills
  • Awareness of inclusivity and support services for individuals with disabilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in using technology and tools such as email, office software, and candidate tracking systems
  • Any experience in social work, NGOs, or disability care is an advantage

Work Location:

Freedom Fighters Enclave, Neb Sarai, IGNOU Road, New Delhi

Nearest metro station is Saket.

Working hours:

9:30am to 6pm, 6 days a week.

Salary range:

20-25k

This is an immediate opening, and needs to be filled on priority. Immediate joiners would be preferred.
