Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Forms and a good understanding of Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining database-driven applications while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms & Reports.
- Enhance existing applications and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop backend components and support integration using Java where required.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure data integrity, application security, and compliances.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation activities.
- Support deployment and post-production activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 47 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong experience in Oracle Forms & Reports.
- Good knowledge of Core Java (for integration or backend support).
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
- Experience with Oracle 10g/11g/12c environments.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
