Key Roles And Responsibilities
We are in search of an individual who will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive services to our clients. This position offers exposure to various domains, including but not limited to:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
- Preparation of work papers substantiating Financial Statement balances
- Preparing compliance filing and returns such as FBT, BAS and IAS
- Expert Financial Reporting across a diverse range of business entities
- Skilful Tax Compliance for entities of various structures, alongside detailed advisory services
- In-depth Research into taxation and business matters
- Proficiency in widely used accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL, etc.
To be considered for this role, your background should ideally include:
- Qualified or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Proficient in Xero is a must. Exposure to MYOB is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business services within a chartered accounting context
- Knowledge of payroll regulations
- Knowledge of GST matters.
- Xero Accreditation is recommended.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive and adaptable attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
