Key Responsibilities:Develop 3D piping models usingSmartPlant 3D (SP3D)in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Generate piping layouts, isometrics, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and MTOs (Material Take-Offs).
- Collaborate closely with piping engineers, civil, structural, and mechanical teams to ensure accurate integration of systems.
- Review and ensure compliance with P&IDs, piping specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with fabrication and construction teams to resolve piping design-related issues.
- Perform clash detection and resolve interface issues using SP3D and other related tools.
- Participate in model review sessions and contribute to design optimization.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and adhere to quality standards.
Mandatory Skills:Proficiency in SP3D (SmartPlant 3D)Hands-on experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, design codes (ASME, ANSI, API), and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and equipment layouts.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects ismandatory.
Preferred Skills:Knowledge of other design tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Navisworks.
- Familiarity with 2D drafting and 3D modeling practices.
