Develop and maintain 3D piping layouts in Autodesk Plant 3D for power generation facilities (thermal, nuclear, CCPP, hydro, biomass, etc.).
Perform piping routing, including process, utility, and service lines, ensuring adherence to design criteria and equipment clearances.
Generate equipment models, pipe supports, platforms, and access layouts.
Coordinate clash detection with structural, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Prepare piping isometric drawings, GA drawings, spool drawings, and support details.
Extract BOMs, MTOs, and reports from Plant 3D for procurement and fabrication.
Maintain drawing records, revision control, and project documentation in accordance with QA/QC procedures.
Collaborate with piping engineers, stress engineers, process engineers, and project managers during design development.
Support site teams by providing detailed drawings and design clarifications.
Participate in model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC stage).
Follow industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, ISO, and project-specific guidelines.
Ensure piping design meets requirements for thermal expansion, safety, accessibility, maintainability, and construct ability.
38+ years of piping design experience in the power sector, EPC, energy, or heavy industrial plants.
Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Plant 3D (mandatory).
Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other 3D modeling tools is a plus.
