Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in piping design, preferably within the maritime or offshore industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime standards, piping design codes, and the requirements of classification societies.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design and develop piping systems for marine vessels and offshore platforms.

·       Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material take-offs.

·       Ensure designs comply with applicable maritime standards and classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR, IRS).

·       Collaborate with structural and mechanical teams to ensure integration of systems.

·       Support in preparing technical documentation and design calculations.

·       Conduct 3D modeling and review using industry-standard tools.

·       Assist in design reviews, approval processes, and client meetings when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

·       Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·       Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in piping design.

·     Strong understanding of maritime standards and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR).

·       In-depth knowledge of piping standards, materials, and marine equipment.

·       Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation and specification development.

·       Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

·       Mandatory software proficiency: AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD 2D.

·       Familiarity with shipyard processes, newbuilds, or retrofit projects.
