We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems in various settings, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Install and maintain piping systems, including water, steam, and gas systems.
- Ensure that all installations meet the required safety and building codes.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals and trades to ensure project completion.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing piping systems.
- Document all work performed and materials used.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter (1-10 years of experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of piping systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools used in pipe fitting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical condition and strength to lift heavy materials.
