Role Overview
This role is designed for a
hands-on, clinically strong Physiotherapist who will work
closely with the Managing Director of VMax Wellness in developing and delivering a
manual-therapyfocused rehabilitation vertical.
The position requires strong
manual therapy expertise,
exercise therapy proficiency,
basic fitness knowledge, and
excellent communication skills. The therapist will play a key role in executing MD-led clinical protocols, maintaining high standards of care, and contributing to the clinic's growth and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Planning
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using objective outcome measures.
- Identify functional impairments, movement dysfunctions, and rehabilitation priorities.
- Set measurable, goal-oriented treatment plans aligned with VMax Wellness clinical standards.
Manual Therapy & Exercise Therapy
- Deliver evidence-based manual therapy interventions for pain relief, mobility improvement, and functional restoration.
- Prescribe, demonstrate, and progress exercise therapy programmes focusing on:
- Strength
- Mobility
- Stability
- Functional and corrective movement patterns
- Integrate basic fitness principles into rehabilitation and injury-prevention plans.
Patient & Caregiver Communication
- Educate patients and caregivers on:
- Condition awareness
- Home exercise programmes (HEP)
- Posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain clear, professional, and confident communication throughout care delivery.
Collaboration with Managing Director
- Work directly with the Managing Director of VMax Wellness to:
- Implement manual therapy protocols
- Support development of new clinical verticals
- Maintain standardisation and quality of care
- Participate in clinical discussions, reviews, and internal skill development.
Documentation & Clinical Governance
- Maintain accurate clinical notes, reassessment records, and discharge summaries.
- Track patient outcomes and progress metrics.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, equipment care, and infection control protocols.
Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory
- BPT or MPT in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
- Strong hands-on skills in manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
- Good understanding of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
- Basic working knowledge of fitness and movement principles.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Coimbatore.
Preferred- Experience in sports rehabilitation, preventive physiotherapy, or fitness-integrated rehab.
- Exposure to neurological or geriatric physiotherapy.
- Additional certifications in:
- Manual therapy
- Dry needling
- Exercise or movement therapy
