Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a physiotherapist at Toddlescent in R.T Nagar, Bangalore.
Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting initial assessments to understand the child's physical abilities, limitations, and needs related to movement, balance, coordination, and muscle tone.
Treatment Planning: Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessments, focusing on improving motor skills, strength, flexibility, and coordination through tailored exercises and activities.
Therapeutic Interventions: Providing hands-on therapy such as exercises, stretches, and activities to improve mobility, posture, and gross motor skills.
Collaboration: Working closely with other therapists (occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc.) to ensure holistic care and integrated therapy approaches.
Family Education: Educating and guiding families on exercises and activities to support therapy goals at home, fostering consistency and progress.
Monitoring Progress: Regularly evaluating and adjusting therapy plans based on progress and feedback from caregivers and other team members.
Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
Advocacy and Support: Advocating for the child's physical needs within the therapy center and providing support to families in understanding and managing physical challenges associated with autism.
