Role Purpose

To provide high-quality clinical care through the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients using physiotherapy interventions. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, enhancing patient experience, and supporting operational excellence through adherence to clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Excellence

  • Indirect contribution by minimizing cancellations/reschedules and maximizing session utilization, improving resource efficiency and reducing operational cost impact.

Operational / Clinical Excellence

  • Adhere to standardized physiotherapy protocols and ensure therapy sessions meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and maintain 100% accuracy in documentation of treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Ensure timely and consistent updates to the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Maintain clinical productivity and compliance with institutional guidelines.

Stakeholder Excellence

  • Deliver patient-centered care that results in high levels of satisfaction, measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Build trust and rapport with patients to encourage adherence to therapy plans and follow-ups.

Team Excellence

  • Minimize session cancellations or reschedules through effective planning and communication.
  • Ensure smooth and complete handovers during shift or therapist changes to maintain continuity of care.
  • Foster collaboration with doctors, nursing staff, and fellow therapists for integrated care delivery.

Self Development

  • Complete all mandatory training programs as scheduled in the annual training calendar.
  • Actively participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, internal case discussions, and workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay current with treatment innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT).
  • Prior experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, rehabilitation planning, and patient care documentation.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems and maintaining accurate clinical records.
  • Good communication skills with empathy and a focus on patient engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in hospital settings.
  • Additional language proficiency based on location.
  • Certification in any specialized physiotherapy techniques is an added advantage
