Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources, including technology, to enhance student understanding.
  • Create assessments and provide actionable feedback to students to promote academic growth.
  • Encourage scientific inquiry and foster a love for learning through interactive experiments and projects.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation from all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and engage students in cross-curricular learning.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and ways to support learning at home.
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings to continuously improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong understanding of curricular standards and educational methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school setting.
  • Experience with ICSE, IGCSE, or CBSE curriculum is preferred.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate students through dynamic teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching and e-learning platforms.
