Bodhi Mind Care Hospital, a leading psychiatric facility in Coimbatore, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Position Type: Full-Time
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of our psychiatric team.
- Perform patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with various mental health conditions.
- Prescribe medication under the direction of a supervising psychiatrist and monitor patients responses to treatment.
- Offer support and counseling to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Stay updated with advancements in psychiatric practices and participate in continuing education programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Tamil Nadu.
- Previous experience in psychiatry or mental health settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in clinical tasks.
